Levitating Chair Instructions
STEP 1
Attach the Chair to the 6' tubing using the screws, washers and finger nuts already attached to Chair.
It's easiest to lay the Chair on its side to attach the 6' Tube. Make sure the tape marked "UP" goes underneath the base of the Chair.
Use the screws, washers and finger nuts already on the Chair to attach the Chair to the 6' Tube.
STEP 2
Attach the Post to the Base using the nuts and washers already attached to the Base.
Make sure the arrow on the Base and the Post match.
Make sure the arrow on the Base and the Post match.
Make sure the bolt on the motor slides into the groove on the upright plywood piece.
Use the finger nuts & washers to attach the Post to the Base.
STEP 3
Opening in wall is 6"x6" centered on chair. Lowest part of opening 31" and highest part of opening is 37".
Slide Tube through opening before attaching to Post.

STEP 4
Slide the pivot point bolt on the Tube onto the Post. Rest the Chair on the ground until Counter-Weights are added. There are 4 washers. 2 should be on the outside of post and 2 should be against the Tube inside the post.
Make sure the Washers are placed on each side of plywood pieces. See photo.
STEP 5
Add a Sandbag to Counter-Weight the Chair. Attach it to the end of the Tube opposite of the Chair using the velcro strap.
Do Not Attach up & down rod yet.

Loosen the U-bolt and slide the Counter-Weight closer to the center or further away to balance.
Moving the Counter-weight may not take much to balance.
STEP 6
Once balanced...
Attach the Up and Down movement Rod to the Tube by removing the lock nut and washer on the tube.
Attach the Up and Down movement Rod to the Tube by removing the lock nut and washer on the tube.
Attach Rod using the washer and lock nut you just removed.
STEP 7
Attach the Motor wiring harness.
STEP 8
Plug in the 2 power cords.
STEP 9
Left Knob controls speed of Up & Down motor. Right Knob controls speed of Left & Right motor.
